Material Controllers - Weekend Shift

Valmont-Newmark is hiring for Machine Operators including Material Controllers - Weekend Shift. Employees will work 36 hours, but be paid for 40 hours. Job Duties: Material Controller is responsible for receiving and physically moving material in an accurate and efficient manner at a manufacturing plant. Accountable for providing accurate and timely documentation of material and product movement to ensure the accuracy of the computers inventory system and the physical location and organization of inventory. Responsible for building customer loads and handling customer paperwork. Responsible for inventory cycle counting assist in reconciling inventory discrepancies. Specific Skill Requirements and Essential Job Functions: Previous forklift and inventory control experience is required. Applicant must be able to pass Valmont's forklift certification. Must interpret proper pole sizes to provide the required levels of material handling. All positions will require proper safety equipment—glasses, boots, etc., which Valmont provides.
