Drill Operators - Weekend shift

Job Description

Entry level drill operator. Hiring for the weekend shift. Employees will work 36 hours and but be paid for 40 hours. Incumbent will be learning to set-up the drill machine per customer specifications. The drawing is also used to mark the set-up of the pole. Specific Skill Requirements and Essential Job Functions: Must be able to read and understand customer drawings. Must verify pole dimensions using tape measure, calipers and squares. Must verify quadrants to be drilled. Must possess the skills to make math computations to set-up an and process material. Must be able to read and understand written production procedures and operating instructions. This will require lifting up to 50 lbs and pushing 100 lbs. since Safety is a Way of Life at Valmont, it is every candidate's responsibility to be able to understand and follow Valmont's Safety Policies and Procedures.
