The Workforce Center connects job seekers with the resources to find a job and keep a job. And, the best part is that most services are available at no cost to job seekers. 

The Workforce Center strives to streamline your job search efforts with a "one-stop" for resources approach.  At the Center workforce professionals will assess your current situation and connect you with the appropriate services to help put you on the path to employment success.

Tools for employment success

Assessment Tools - Specially designed assessment tools will help focus your job search efforts and highlight:

• your employment related interests,
• your current job skills, and
• the skills needed for career advancement.

Basic Skills Assessment & Skill Building - The Workforce Center has online assessments to determine your skill level in:

• applied mathematics,
• reading for information, and
• locating information.

You can also take advantage of available software to improve these skills. 

Job Search Assistance & Career Planning - At the Workforce Center you will be able to utilize available resources to identify and track your employment related goals.

• One-on-One Job Search and Interview Coaching

Veterans' Services - Workforce Center staff can provide information regarding available employment programs, training opportunities and services, eligibility requirements and veterans' priority.

Workshops - Designed for professional and skilled workers, workshops offer training on how to find a job and the key skills employers are looking for while hiring.  Topics include:

• resume writing and interviewing
• job search skills, and
• basic or professional computer skills.

Workshop schedules are updated monthly and available online or at the Workforce Center.
