Butler County History Center and Kansas Oil Museum

The Rolla A. Clymer Research Library is a valuable collection of historical books and records for delving into the past to unlock the secrets of family histories, property, events and more. You may conduct your own research during our business hours, or we can do it for you with a small fee.  Printing charges also apply.

Our facilities are available for rental including our grounds for weddings, family reunions, and more. Indoors, our conference room is available for meetings, showers, and other functions. Rental fees start at $25. Please call for availability.

We love giving tours! We can develop programs and tours to fit curriculum, standards, and any other requests.  Call to book your school tour today!  Private tours are also available for groups of all kinds, including boy scouts and girl scouts.
